山形神室途中撤退蛤山

Yesterday the Saturday Aug. 25th, me, my wife, and his father had a short climbing to the mountain called Yamagata-Kamuro (山形神室) from its nearest entrance point Sasaya-Toge (笹谷峠) but ended up only at its half way point at Hamaguri-Yama (蛤山) due to, again, unstable summer weather. However, I thought it was actually good as we had a little bit elder person, Sadao at his age at 89. Even though he is in a very good shape but climbing mountain in a hot and humid summer season, though yesterday was windy and rainy, is a different story.

 

 

Started walking under sunshine.

  

At the summit, it was windy and rainy but we saw quite few people climbing.

  

Viewing Tongari-Yama, and Sendai-Kamuro but Yamagata-Kamuro was behind clouds.

  

Viewing Yamaga-City (山形市) fm Hamaguri-Yama.

  

South view, not sure which one is the Gando-San though...
